Beef Farmers of Ontario

Beef Farmers of Ontario (BFO) is the leading organization in Ontario working with all beef farmers to develop and support landmark achievements that move the province's beef industry forward sustainably and profitably. BFO is involved in a wide range of issues and initiatives that are important to all stakeholders within Ontario's beef industry which include industry sustainability, trade, animal health and care, environment and food safety.


Ontario Pork

Ontario Pork is a not for profit agricultural commodity association representing the provincial pork farmers. The organization plays a role in many areas, including research, government representation, environmental issues, consumer education, human nutrition and food quality assurance. Ontario's pork industry "farm to fork" generated $2.5 billion in economic output and 15,814 in full time equivalent jobs.


Ontario Sheep Marketing Agency

Ontario Sheep Marketing Agency (OSMA) is a producer organization that represents over 3,000 sheep producers who contribute over $300 million to Ontario's economy. Established in 1985, OSMA's mission is to enhance producer returns and provide consumers with premium lamb and sheep products by encouraging Ontario sheep producers to provide quality, year-round product through advocacy, marketing development, industry capacity and organizational capacity.


Veal Farmers of Ontario

Veal Farmers of Ontario (VFO) is a producer run organization that represents the interests of both grain-fed and milk-fed producers in Ontario. VFO is committed to enhancing the Ontario veal industry on behalf of all those associated with the industry including packers, processors, feed companies, pharmaceutical companies, retailers, food service and other service and equipment suppliers. VFO's responsibilities include producer communication, government liaison, policy, research and development, marketing, consumer education, promotions, retail liaison, and producer education. It is Ontario's newest marketing board as of April 1, 2015 and replaces the Ontario Veal Association.
